On Day 2 of your Zanzibar adventure, it's time to immerse yourself in the captivating charm of Stone Town, the historic heart of the island.
After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will take you on a fascinating journey through time as you explore the narrow winding streets of Stone Town. Be prepared to be amazed by the intricate details of elaborately carved wooden doors and the grandeur of historic buildings that showcase the island's diverse cultural heritage.
You'll have the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks, such as The House of Wonders,Tiptip House, Old Harbour, Forodhani Garden an architectural marvel, and the former Sultan's Palace, both steeped in intriguing history. We'll take you to the renowned Government spice farm, where you'll embark on a sensory journey like no other. Wander through the lush plots of spices, fruits, and vegetables, engaging all your senses as you dig, pick, taste, and smell the various roots, leaves, fruits, and barks of exotic spices.

Jozani Forest
We'll set out on a scenic car drive, heading to the enchanting South/East region of the Island. Spanning about 50 square kilometers, it stands as the sole national park on the island. Once we reach the forest, get ready for an immersive experience in the lush rainforest. You'll have the opportunity to walk on a bridge over the intriguing mangrove swamp, where our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the various mangrove species thriving here.
One of the highlights of this tour is encountering the remarkable red colobus monkeys, which are believed to be exclusive to this Island. Their presence adds to the captivating biodiversity, making it a haven for both flora and fauna enthusiasts. The Jozani Forest tour is a captivating adventure that typically lasts around 3-4 hours, leaving you with cherished memories of Zanzibar's natural beauty and unique wildlife encounters.

Prison Island
Changuu Island, also known as Prison Island, was once a quarantine station for yellow fever patients. The adventure begins with a morning breakfast pick-up from your hotel at 10 a.m. Our guide will take you to Stone Town, and from there, it's a 30-minute boat ride to the Island. The Island offers a Idyllic setting, perfect for photographers, with giant and baby tortoises to observe. You'll also get a chance to explore the Prison building, which had an interesting history as a planned prison that didn't come to fruition in ancient times. The package includes entry fees, boat transportation, picnic treaty, and snorkeling gear (optional).

Nakupenda Sandbank
After the tour, enjoy a seafood lunch at the picnic site. If time allows, you can visit Nakupenda Sandbank for relaxation, one of Zanzibar's stunning beaches with crystal-clear blue waters and pristine white sands. The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and indulging in a seafood grill. The turquoise and bright blue colors of the Indian Ocean add to the beauty of the place. If you have a couple of hours to spare, unwind here before heading back to your hotel
